The Toronto Raptors were founded in 1995 as part of the NBA's expansion into Canada, along with the Vancouver Grizzlies. Count Muggsy Bogues, Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady, and Kawhi Leonard as some of the marquee names that have worn a Raptors uniform. Other fan favorites have included Charles Oakley, DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry to name a few.
